The best body transformation tool

I work with clients 1-2-1 at Gymbox, Covent garden and Online. Most wanting to drop body fat, get leaner and be healthier. One of the greatest tools I use as a coach is calorie density. it’s the King & Queen of dropping body fat!

Energy balance in its simplest easiest terms mean, in order for you to reduce body fat, you’ll need to consume less energy (calories) than you expend. In order to gain weight, you’ll need to consume more energy than you expend.

In order to maintain weight, you’ll need to consume an equal number of calories, compared to the number of calories that your body expends, through daily activities.

So, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter is very calorie-dense, whereas 1 tablespoon of milk is not. Unfortunately, the most calorically dense foods are often the most enjoyable “funny how that works”, but they provide little benefit other than empty calories and adding unwanted body fat.

The number one reason that low calorie-dense foods can help you drop the body fat is the fact that you can consume a large amount, with little impact on your calorie intake.
Like our friend the veggie, often provide a large amount of physical food with very few calories.

As a rough idea…
2 cups of broccoli are around 70 calories.
2 cups of almonds, will be roughly 1360 calories.
