3 tips to help you with fat loss this year

We are nicely into 2020 now, with summer on the way. which means most people are wanting to transform their bodies for summer! As a 1-2-1 Personal Trainer in London, I get clients to focus on the basics. When we nail those, things get exciting! If you are unsure about how to start your body transformation. Down below are three areas I implemented with all clients.

Tracking your steps.

Is an incredible tool for fat loss. The more you do and move, the more energy you use. Are energy being calories. Aim for 10-12,000 a day or a weekly average for the next month, I grantee you make an impact.
Steps can ARE overlooked. Getting out in the fresh and in the sun, listening to music or a podcast can have much more than a fat loss effect. Hows your mental state of mind? Getting outside can be your stress relief, your little escape.

Your TDEE.

TDEE, total daily energy expenditure, is the amount of energy in calories you burn per day. This involves the energy you burn sleeping, working, exercising, and even eating. It is important to know your TDEE when trying to set up a proper bulking or cutting phase. Your TDEE, in short. Is your calorie maintenance level. This is the number of calories that are required per day to keep you are your current scale weight. When you know maintenance calories you can either add calories per day to gain or lower calories to drop body fat.
Your TDEE is great and all but think about having a good balance of Carbs, Fat and Protein. Are you eating veg with all your major meals and fruit in your diet daily?

Quick fixes.

Do I need to say more?
Quick fixes are normally extreme approaches to achieve your goals not knowing how to maintain or improve on it. “Yes, you will probably see results.”
When the diet has finished then what?
What do you eat and drink after?
Are you stressed, not sleeping and experiencing bloating or gut discomfort?
I focus on getting people healthy first. Then we drop body fat. In the process of getting healthier, the by-product is fat loss.
