Nailing The Basics
Good morning,
As a face to face Personal Training in London, I work with a lot of busy men and women. The topics below are always my main area of focus with every client if we nail the basics. You will achieve your goals.
I want to cover a couple of topics, that get overlooked a lot. These areas are KEY to locked down for any goal. Whether your goal is fat loss, muscle gain, transforming your body or you just want to feel healthier, happier inside and out.
Let’s jump to it!
The Basics
I talk about “the basics” all the time and I just want to give you a bit more of an insight into what I really mean.
This has NOTHING to do with training. I’m talking about the basics of being healthy, then applying it to your own lifestyle and eventually there will become habits.
Things like…
1. Sleep
2. Stress management
3. Meditation/breathing
4. Crewing your food.
5. Digestion
6. Getting enough sunlight
7. Rest and recovery
8. Environment
9. Hydration
10. Hormones/sex
If these are not in place or currently not what you would call healthy, in your life. I won’t say a training or nutrition plan is pointless, but you probably need to focus on the basics of life first.
When these are in place and become a part of your life, it will SHOCK you what kind of results you can achieve.
Do me a favor and rate these out of 10.
1 = Poor/Bad - I need to make changes and improve my health
10 = Good quality/I get enough and feeling health.
Rate yourself out of a 100, then send me your results. I can I've you some help on how to improve some areas you might be struggling with. I work very closely with all my online and 1-2-1 clients to get their health at optional levels.
Time
One thing we all have in common and one thing we would all pay to have more of.
Whatever your goals are in life. It all comes down to putting the time in! Taking one step forward every day no matter what gets dumped in front of you. Some days the steps will be large, other days a little smaller. But you’re heading in the right direction, wherever that may be or take you.
We all have our own shit to deal with. Yeah, it sucks. But, it’s your choice if you want to keep moving forward or not.
Since last October/November I’ve applied this to my life and honestly... it’s shown. Keep moving forward, show up when you don’t want to and focus on what you want.
Don’t worry if you’re unsure what you want. “That’s cool!” Just make sure you're working on yourself and improving every day.
If you have any questions or you're facing any barriers in your health and fitness journey.
Please don't hesitate to ask, I'm always here.
Stay positive,
Brandon
